The Wheeler Twins- Georgia (assistant manager) & Sophie(supervisor) are an integral part of our philosophy at the pub, putting customers first with there warm welcomes, smiles & bubbly personalities, part of the group for over 5 years, there progression & rise makes them stars of the hospitality sector & ones to watch for the future. They lead the team by example & are always there for the locals.
If it’s a menu choice, glass of wine or gin to choose their knowledge & experience will have you covered, all you must remember is which one is which

Kitchen


Adam Church -Head Chef/ Manager
Adam has been part of the group for nearly 6 years after working in some of the county’s top restaurants Adam met Tom to become head chef of the then Franks Steakhouse where he became runner up in both Northamptonshire Restaurant of the year/ chef of the year in 2015. After 3 years Tom & Adam collaborated in the Opening of Bread & Pullet bringing a totally new concept to Northampton winning Muddy Stilettos Casual dining restaurant of the year 2016, runner up again for the next 2 in restaurant of the year for Northamptonshire.
But in 2017 Adam was listed for Bread and Pullet in the Waitrose 2018 Good food Guide scoring 5/10 & being listed as one to watch locally & a local gem.
To this day Adam remains committed to Northamptonshire helping to put it on the map for both its food & producers, keen to support local he was also nominated as a local food hero
His passionate about food & classical combinations with his own twist

Liam Simister – Liam graduated from Northampton Colleges Catering programme, from there he went to work for Michelin starred Andrew Nicholson at Chapter one.

After this Liam was working at The Lamport swan as a pastry chef when he met Adam, 4 years later Adam was running the kitchen & Liam was promoted from Head pastry chef to senior sous chef, apart from a 2 year hiatus to travel the country gaining experience Liam has now been Adams right hand man for 10 of the 12 years they have known each other.

Also best friends away from the kitchen there passion food, football & life has made them a formidable team.
